Backup Capability – Important Suitability Note
The GoodWe ESA can be designed for backup-capable installations, but backup is not one-size-fits-all. The final backup design depends on your switchboard, phase type, essential loads, appliance starting currents, and whether you want selected-circuit or broader home backup.
This is an excellent on-grid home battery system, but it is not the right choice for every off-grid or heavy motor-starting application. Pumps, air conditioners, compressors, and other inductive loads need to be assessed before we promise backup performance. We would rather quote this properly than oversell it.
Price and Installation Guidance
Current online package price: $12,431. Final installed pricing must be confirmed by quote because no two battery installs are identical.
Installation, backup configuration, metering, switchboard work, cable runs, site access, travel, and rebate outcome can all change the final installed cost. Regional and rural installations may cost more because travel and installer availability are different outside metro areas.
