Backup without vague promises
A battery connected to the grid is not automatically a blackout-backup system. Backup normally requires the suitable Sigen Gateway, safe grid isolation, nominated circuits or whole-home load assessment, and any necessary switchboard work. We check that through the detailed photo assessment before confirming scope and price.
Planning a true off-grid installation?
Allow from approximately $2,500 additional for the extra off-grid design and installation work above the comparable on-grid package. The suitable Sigen Gateway, freight, travel and any site-specific electrical or civil work are additional. A true off-grid system must be designed around your peak loads, daily energy use, solar resource, autonomy target and generator strategy—it is not simply the on-grid package with a switch changed.

What should I budget for off-grid?
