Why we rate this battery
The most important part of a battery is not the logo on the outside. It is the cells, the BMS, the enclosure, the safety design and how well the battery works with the inverter system.
The RUIXU Lithi2-16 uses large-format 314Ah LiFePO4 cells. In our experience, this cell format is one of the best directions for long-life stationary storage because it allows a large battery module with fewer cells and fewer internal cell connections than many smaller-cell designs.
We like it for high-usage homes, backup systems, off-grid builds and customers who are thinking in terms of a 10 to 20 year battery system rather than the cheapest possible upfront purchase.

Inverter compatibility
Compatibility depends on the inverter model, firmware, cable, battery protocol and installer configuration. Always confirm the exact design before purchasing.
- CAN bus: Victron, Deye, Solis, SMA, Studer Innotec, Sofar, GoodWe, Growatt, SAJ, LuxPower, Megarevo, INVT, Sermatec, TBB, MUST and Schneider.
- RS485: MPP, Voltronic, RCT, Alpha and Outback.
- Victron: Type B communication cable may be required.
- Deye / SMA / Growatt: standard RJ45 cable is commonly used.

Frequently asked questions
Is this battery suitable for Victron systems?
Yes, it can be used with compatible Victron systems when correctly configured, but cabling and protocol setup matter. A Type B communication cable may be required.
Can I install one battery now and add more later?
In many designs, yes. The system can scale, but the inverter, cabling, protection, battery settings and physical layout should be planned from the start.
Is this only for off-grid?
No. It can suit off-grid, hybrid and backup systems when used with compatible equipment. Grid-connected systems must still meet network, inverter and rebate requirements.
Why choose a 16kWh battery module?
A 16kWh module gives a useful amount of storage without needing many smaller batteries. It can simplify larger systems and makes 32kWh, 48kWh and bigger battery banks easier to plan.
