This next generation EVE 628ah 3.2v Prismatic LFP cell, has been verified by EVE Laboratory to be able to hit 8,000-12,000 cycles, this is due to new novel manufacturing technology, the secret sauce of LFP chemistry has gone through multiple iterations, the quality of the Cathode and Anode materials has been improved, and it is now expected that under the right conditions, these cells can reach a lifetime of up to 20+ years. Although most DIY battery builds may not experience the cycle life of a thermally managed BESS, some will and that is an amazing and attractive technological advancement in LFP.
