Description

A Victron 48V off-grid kit brings your inverter, battery storage, solar charge controller and monitoring together in one equipment bundle. Choose from four sizes to match your simultaneous power needs and stored energy requirements.

Each kit includes Deye SE-G5.1 Pro-B rack batteries. Every module provides 51.2V, 100Ah and 5.12kWh of nominal LiFePO4 storage, with one, two, three or four modules according to your selected kit.

Power and storage for your loads

3000VA + 5.12kWh: A compact option for modest simultaneous loads such as lighting, communications, electronics and refrigeration, subject to appliance starting requirements.

5000VA + 10.24kWh: More inverter capacity for overlapping appliance use, with two Deye battery modules and twice the storage of the smallest kit.

8000VA + 15.36kWh: Higher continuous output and three Deye modules for greater simultaneous loads and energy storage.

10000VA + 20.48kWh: The largest kit in this range, combining 8,000W continuous inverter output at 25°C with four Deye battery modules.

Inverter power determines how much equipment can run together; battery energy affects how long it can run. Usable energy and runtime depend on charge level, reserve settings, appliance consumption, temperature and system losses. Starting loads and battery discharge limits must also suit the installation. VA and watts are different ratings.

  • 1 × Victron MultiPlus-II 230V inverter/charger: 48/3000/35-32, 48/5000/70-50, 48/8000/110-100 or 48/10000/140-100, according to your selected kit.
  • 1, 2, 3 or 4 × Deye SE-G5.1 Pro-B 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 rack batteries, providing 5.12, 10.24, 15.36 or 20.48kWh nominal storage.
  • 1 × Victron SmartSolar MPPT controller as shown in the comparison table.
  • 1 × Victron Lynx Distributor M10.
  • 1 × Victron Cerbo GX MK2 and 1 × Victron GX Touch 50 display.
  • 3000VA and 5000VA kits: 1 × 1.8m RJ45 UTP communication cable and 1 × 1.8m VE.Direct cable.
  • 8000VA and 10000VA kits: 2 × 1.8m RJ45 UTP communication cables.
  • Battery communication cable for the Deye battery and Victron GX system.
  • Battery/inverter cable and protection kit.

Solar and monitoring

The SmartSolar MPPT controller connects to a compatible solar array. Solar panels are not included. Panel quantity, string layout and electrical limits must be matched to the controller and installation conditions.

Cerbo GX and GX Touch 50 provide local system monitoring. Remote monitoring requires an internet connection and appropriate setup.

Supply and installation

These are supply-only equipment bundles. Solar panels, installation, commissioning, panel mounting, battery cabinets and site-specific wiring are excluded unless expressly itemised. Purchased a Deye inverter from LiFePo4 in June 2026. I am pleased to say that the inverter has been running perfectly with no issues for the last 1½ months. It has been installed into an off-grid system on a very recently built granny flat. This inverter was ideal for our situation and was easy to set up. The 2 trackers were very handy as we needed to deal with 2 different sets of strings operating at 2 different voltages. It certainly looks like a very well designed and robust inverter and will hopefully last us many, many years. If and when we need to replace the inverters on the main house, we will certainly be looking at using Deye.
LiFePo4 provided free delivery, which was very quick, arrived in only a couple of days. They sent me an email checking on how we were going with the installation and offered assistance if we needed it. Excellent Company to deal with and I would purchase from them again in future.

I totally agree with the other 5 star reviews and can highly recommend buying lithium cells from this business. I received my order of 72 automotive MB31 batteries quickly and I am very impressed. All the cells were within 0.01 of a volt so didn’t require balancing or top charging before installing. They are the real deal A+ automotive grade EVE cells as advertised and not B grade rubbish some online sellers are supplying. Mark actually answers the phone if you need to discuss anything before purchasing and is one of the few people I have found selling lithium batteries that actually now’s about how to install and set voltage settings in the BMS’s he sells.
