Description
Victron MultiPlus-II GX + Deye 51.2V 100Ah 5.12kWh Battery Bundle
A cleaner, smarter Victron power system starts with the GX intelligence already built in. This configurable bundle combines your choice of 48V Victron MultiPlus-II GX inverter/charger with selectable 51.2V battery storage, giving you dependable off-grid or backup power with straightforward system monitoring from day one.
Why we choose the MultiPlus-II GX
A standard MultiPlus-II is an excellent inverter/charger, but most owners of a serious 48V system also want clear system information, battery communication and remote visibility. The GX version places the Victron GX communications platform inside the inverter/charger, prewired and configured as one integrated unit.
- Cleaner installation: fewer separate boxes, power supplies and communication links are required for the core GX functions.
- One connected system: compatible batteries, Victron solar chargers, energy meters and other supported equipment can report through the GX platform.
- Local and remote visibility: view system status through Remote Console and, when connected to the internet, the free Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal and app.
- Useful alerts and history: VRM can provide operating data, trends, alarms and notifications that make it easier to understand performance and identify problems early.
- Remote support capability: supported settings, diagnostics and firmware functions can be accessed remotely when the system is correctly configured and connected.
- Proven MultiPlus performance: PowerControl, PowerAssist, fast transfer during an outage and flexible off-grid, backup and energy-storage operation remain at the heart of the system.
The practical benefit: you receive the inverter/charger and the everyday GX monitoring platform in the same enclosure. For this bundle, a separate Cerbo GX is not required for the core GX, Remote Console and VRM experience.
GX versus non-GX MultiPlus-II: where a Cerbo GX fits
If you choose a non-GX MultiPlus-II for another system, we generally recommend pairing it with a Victron Cerbo GX. The non-GX inverter/charger manages the power, while the Cerbo GX becomes the communications centre that brings compatible system devices together under Victron’s Venus OS platform.
Adding a Cerbo GX to a non-GX system provides a much better ownership experience and can unlock features such as:
- centralised monitoring and control of compatible Victron equipment and supported batteries;
- VRM dashboards, history, alerts, diagnostics and Remote Console access;
- supported remote firmware updates, remote controls and Remote VEConfigure workflows;
- additional VE.Direct, VE.Can/BMS-Can and USB connectivity;
- digital inputs, temperature and tank-level inputs, programmable relays and optional GX Touch display support.
A Cerbo GX can still be useful with a GX inverter when a more complex installation needs its expanded physical connections, extra inputs and relays, or a dedicated GX Touch display. For the typical system represented by this bundle, however, choosing the MultiPlus-II GX gives you the important GX functionality without making a Cerbo a compulsory extra.
Choose the GX inverter/charger that suits your system
Every inverter option below is a genuine 48V, 230V MultiPlus-II GX model with built-in GX functionality. The 48/5000 GX is selected by default, and you can change the inverter in the bundle configurator above.
