Description
The Pylontech US5000B is a 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery that stores solar energy for use when you need it. Each rack-mounted module provides 4.8kWh nominal capacity and 4.56kWh usable capacity, with an integrated battery management system and a built-in circuit breaker.
It is important to understand this Lithium battery brand is different to others, in that it runs at a lower voltage, so when connecting to your system, you must understand the different voltage profile. Please ask us for support if you are unsure

Build the capacity your system needs
Two US5000B modules provide 9.6kWh nominal storage, four provide 19.2kWh, and a group of sixteen provides 76.8kWh. Your installer should size both battery capacity and available current to suit the inverter, household loads and backup requirements. Usable AC energy will be lower than the battery’s DC capacity because of inverter losses and system settings.
Inverter compatibility and accessories
Use this battery with an approved 48V battery inverter or inverter/charger. Confirm the exact inverter model, firmware, communication cable and minimum battery quantity before ordering.
Victron lists the US5000B for compatible 48V MultiPlus and Quattro systems. These installations require a GX device and the correct Type A CAN-bus BMS cable, together with the configuration in Victron’s Pylontech compatibility guide.

Installation and warranty
The IP20 battery module requires a dry indoor location and suitable support. Installation and commissioning must follow Pylontech’s instructions and applicable Australian requirements. Pylontech’s Australian US Series warranty specifies a 10-year term, subject to its commencement, installation and operating conditions.
