The warranty is valid for either 10 years or until the battery reaches 16 MWh of total energy throughput, whichever comes first. This throughput is measured at the point where the battery retains 70% of its original capacity (End of Life/EOL).
To put that into perspective for a single 5.12kWh module:
16 MWh = 16,000 kWh.
If you cycle the battery fully once per day (~4.6kWh usable), you would reach the 16 MWh limit in approximately 3,478 days (about 9.5 years).
If you are a light user and don’t fully cycle it daily, the 10-year time limit will likely trigger first.
