Description
The Discover Helios ESS is a high-capacity 51.2V LiFePO4 battery for off-grid, hybrid, whole-home backup, commercial and microgrid energy storage. Its IP65 enclosure, integrated cold-weather heating, high continuous output and closed-loop CAN communication make it suitable for demanding installations when paired with compatible equipment.

- 16.08kWh energy capacity from a 51.2V, 314Ah battery module.
- Up to 10.24kW continuous discharge rate, with 200A maximum continuous charge and discharge current.
- 300A RMS peak discharge current for 15 seconds.
- Integrated self-heating and operation in cold conditions down to -25C.
- IP65-rated galvanized steel enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation.
- Closed-loop CAN communication with supported inverters; exact compatibility depends on inverter model and firmware.
- Expandable in parallel for larger storage systems when designed with compatible inverter and communications equipment.
- Advanced battery protection, dual internal fire arrestors and an emergency-stop input for rapid-shutdown integration.
Warranty and certification
The supplied Discover warranty lists a 5-year base workmanship period. Registration with Discover within 30 days of installation may extend the workmanship period to 10 years, subject to the warranty terms and energy-throughput limits. The supplied Rev G datasheet lists UN38.3, UL 1973, UL 9540A and UL 9540 DC ESS 3rd Edition.
