Description
REPT 345Ah LiFePO₄ Prismatic Battery Cell
The REPT 345Ah LiFePO₄ prismatic cell is a high-capacity lithium iron phosphate cell designed for large battery storage systems, off-grid homes, commercial battery banks, and long-duration energy storage projects.
At 345Ah, each cell stores approximately 1,100Wh of energy. That is around 10% more capacity than a typical 314Ah cell, while remaining in a very similar physical size. For larger systems, that extra capacity adds up quickly.
For example, in a 16-cell 51.2V battery:
- 314Ah cells provide approximately 16.08kWh
- 345Ah cells provide approximately 17.66kWh
That gives about 1.6kWh extra capacity per 16-cell battery pack.
These are A Grade / Automotive Grade quality cells, suitable for serious energy storage applications where long service life, stable performance, and high usable capacity are important.
Why Choose REPT 345Ah Cells?
The REPT 345Ah cell can be considered an upgrade from the previous 314Ah generation of LiFePO₄ cells. It is especially well suited to larger battery banks, where space efficiency and total usable capacity matter.
These cells are ideal for:
- Off-grid homes
- Large solar battery systems
- 50kWh to 150kWh battery banks
- Commercial energy storage
- Backup power systems
- Wind and solar storage projects
- Long-duration energy storage applications
The main advantage is simple: more storage capacity in almost the same space.
For customers building larger off-grid or hybrid battery systems, this extra capacity can reduce the number of cells or battery modules required for the same total storage capacity.
Important C-Rate Requirement
These cells are designed for large-capacity battery systems, not small high-current battery packs.
The recommended standard charge and discharge rate is 0.25C, with 0.2C preferred for maximum lifespan.
In simple terms, this means your total battery bank should be sized so that the combined inverter, solar charger, grid charger, or generator charging current does not regularly exceed the recommended charge/discharge rate.
As a practical rule:
Your battery bank should be at least 4 to 5 times larger than your maximum continuous charge or discharge load.
For example, with a large off-grid battery bank, this is usually not a problem because the battery capacity is high compared with the inverter load. But for smaller battery packs, these cells may not be suitable if you need very high current.
This is one of the reasons the REPT 345Ah cell is best suited to large battery banks, where the system operates gently and the cells can achieve a long service life.

Summary
The REPT 345Ah LiFePO₄ cell is a strong option for customers who want more usable storage capacity from a high-quality large-format prismatic cell.
Compared with 314Ah cells, it provides around 10% more capacity, making it especially attractive for large battery systems where every extra kilowatt-hour matters.
It is best suited to larger, lower-C-rate systems such as off-grid homes, commercial storage, and large solar battery banks. When used correctly, with conservative charge and discharge rates, these cells are designed to provide long service life and excellent value per kWh.
