The AIKO NEOSTAR 3P54 is not just another black-frame 500W panel. Its N-Type ABC design moves the electrical contacts to the rear, leaving the front surface free to capture light. The result is a clean-looking, extremely efficient panel that makes better use of valuable roof space.

AIKO’s partial-shading optimisation is a genuine point of difference. Instead of allowing one shaded cell to drag down a large section of the module, the ABC design can manage individual shaded cells so more of the panel continues producing. That matters around chimneys, trees, leaves, bird droppings and uneven soiling.

Energy security is designed, not assumed. The final backup scope depends on peak demand, motor starting loads, switchboard configuration, circuit selection, roof area, winter solar conditions and DNSP requirements. Whole-home or whole-business backup is not automatic; we design the supported loads around the real site.

Standard installation assumptions

  • Suitable three-phase supply, switchboard condition and spare capacity for the advertised inverter.
  • Usable roof area for 48 panels, with suitable structure, access, orientation and compliant mounting locations.
  • Reasonable cable routes between the roof, inverter, battery bank, switchboard and monitoring equipment.
  • Ground-level or straightforward inverter and battery placement with safe service access.
  • No major switchboard reconstruction, asbestos work, extensive trenching, scaffolding, crane work, structural engineering or complex metering changes unless separately quoted.
  • DNSP approval, rebate eligibility and installer availability confirmed before the project proceeds.

Questions worth asking

Is 24kW of solar too large for a home?
For a low-usage suburban home, it may be. For a large home, farm, workshop, pool, multiple EVs or a property targeting a high degree of autonomy, it can be exactly the point. Roof space, DNSP limits and export settings must be assessed.
Can this run a whole business or home during a blackout?
Possibly, but not by assumption. We need the site’s peak and continuous loads, motor starting requirements and essential-circuit priorities. The final backup design determines what remains powered and for how long.
Why use such a large battery bank?
Large storage lets the system carry more solar into the evening and overnight, cover longer grid interruptions and maintain more reserve. It is particularly valuable when winter production, commercial operating hours or off-grid reliability matter.
Can it be installed off-grid?
Yes, the equipment platform suits many off-grid designs, but true off-grid systems need a load study, winter solar modelling and usually a compatible generator strategy. The advertised price may change for non-standard or remote installations.
What if the property is single-phase?
We can redesign the inverter side around a 10kW or 16kW single-phase model where appropriate. The allowable inverter and export arrangement depends on the DNSP, property and final engineering.
