The Deye AI-W5.1-10P1-AU-B “Spring Series” represents a significant leap in residential energy infrastructure. This system integrates a 10kW single-phase hybrid inverter with a modular, high-voltage battery stack, eliminating the complexity of external DC cabling and separate battery cabinets. By utilizing four AI-W5.1-B LiFePO4 modules, this configuration provides a robust 20.48kWh of usable storage, engineered specifically for the demands of the Australian climate and AS/NZS 4777.2:2020 grid standards.
System Architecture & “Plus” Integration
The inclusion of the upgraded PDU3 (Power Distribution Unit) is mandatory for this 10kW system. It provides the necessary busbar capacity and a 250A two-pole molded case circuit breaker to handle the system’s high-current throughput. The tool-free, blind-mate stacking design uses internal connectors for power and CAN/RS485 communication, drastically reducing installation time and eliminating external point-of-failure wiring between modules.
