Description
Build your Anker SOLIX X1 hybrid home battery system
Configure a CEC-listed Anker SOLIX X1 hybrid system for a single-phase or three-phase Australian property. Choose the inverter that matches the site supply, then select between one and six 5kWh X1-B5-H battery modules for 5–30kWh of storage.
1. Choose the correct hybrid inverter
| Supply | Inverter choices | Maximum PV input | Included metering |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single phase | 5kW or 6kW | 10kW or 12kW | DDSU666 single-phase meter / sensor |
| Three phase | 5kW, 8kW, 10kW or 12kW | 10kW, 16kW, 20kW or 24kW | DTSU666 meter with 3 × 100A CTs |
The selected inverter must match the property phase configuration and local network approval. For a retrofit with another solar inverter, an additional meter may be required after the installer reviews the existing system.
2. Choose battery capacity
| Modules | Nominal capacity | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5kWh | Small daily storage requirement |
| 2 | 10kWh | Smaller household or light evening loads |
| 3 | 15kWh | Popular family-home starting point |
| 4 | 20kWh | Higher night usage, air conditioning or EV charging |
| 5 | 25kWh | Large household or higher backup requirement |
| 6 | 30kWh | Maximum capacity in this single-system configurator |
Each X1-B5-H module provides 5kWh of nominal storage and up to 3kW charge/discharge power. A six-module system requires a two-column layout. Wall-mounted systems may require a second column from five modules; the final arrangement and accessories are confirmed during site design.

Rebate and installation notes
The rebate calculator is an estimate only. Set its usable-capacity field to match the selected battery quantity. Eligibility, final STC value and installation requirements depend on the equipment configuration, installation date, accredited installer, solar PV eligibility and official REC Registry calculation.
This page covers one X1 hybrid system. Parallel systems, 35–60kWh designs, Power Dock Pro whole-home backup and complex commercial or off-grid projects require an engineered quote.
