Description
Turn more of your solar into power you can actually use.
A beautifully integrated solar, battery and backup platform for Australian homes with serious energy needs. Store daytime solar, reduce evening grid use and keep selected home loads supported when the grid goes down.
3 independent MPPTs
IP66 indoor/outdoor
Integrated backup

One coordinated system, built around your home
OCEAN 2 Plus combines a high-output single-phase hybrid inverter, modular 5.02kWh LiFePO4 battery packs, integrated backup architecture and EcoFlow energy management in one clean platform. Instead of piecing together separate boxes, meters and backup components, your installer can design the system as a coordinated whole.
This guide is based on a 20.08kWh battery stack, compatible OCEAN 2 Plus inverter and a standard installation allowance. The inverter model, backup circuits, switchboard work, cable runs, metering and final installed price must be confirmed in a written site-specific quote.
Why homeowners will love OCEAN 2 Plus
Capture more roof space
Three independent MPPTs make it easier to work with multiple roof orientations or partial shading. Each MPPT supports up to 8kW input, with up to 24kW total PV input on the 12kW model.
Keep more of your solar
Store excess daytime generation and use it through the evening, overnight or during expensive tariff periods instead of exporting it for a lower rate.
Backup without the box maze
Integrated backup architecture simplifies the design. Your installer still needs to confirm which circuits and total loads can be supported by the selected inverter and battery configuration.
Expand as life changes
Start with the storage that suits today and expand within the approved system limits as your household, EV charging, heat-pump or backup needs grow.

20.08kWh package at a glance
| Battery storage | 20.08kWh nominal – four 5.02kWh LiFePO4 modules |
|---|---|
| Inverter | EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Plus single-phase hybrid inverter; 8kW, 9.999kW or 12kW model selected to suit the approved design |
| Solar inputs | 3 MPPTs, 1 string per MPPT, up to 8kW per MPPT |

Choose the storage that matches your lifestyle
Every home uses energy differently. The figures below show the official nominal capacity steps for one battery stack; a single inverter can support up to 12 battery modules across the permitted configuration.
| Battery modules | Nominal storage | Typical conversation starter |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5.02kWh | Light evening use or staged expansion |
| 2 | 10.04kWh | Efficient homes with moderate overnight demand |
| 3 | 15.06kWh | Balanced everyday storage and selected backup |
| 4 | 20.08kWh | This package: stronger overnight coverage and higher-load households |
| 5 | 25.10kWh | Larger homes, EVs, heat pumps or extended backup goals |
| 6 | 30.12kWh | Heavy energy users or maximum single-stack capacity |
Designed to be easier to live with

- Compact footprint: a 20.08kWh stack is approximately 680mm wide, 196mm deep and 1334mm high.
- Outdoor-ready: IP66-rated inverter and battery enclosures support flexible placement, subject to AS/NZS 5139 and site requirements.
- Quiet operation: the battery uses natural cooling and the overall design is intended for unobtrusive home installation.
- Smart control: review solar generation, battery state, grid exchange and household consumption from the EcoFlow app.
- Long-term platform: EcoFlow advertises up to a 15-year warranty for the current OCEAN 2 line, subject to the exact product, registration and warranty terms.

What can change the installed price?
The guide price assumes a straightforward installation. A final quote may change for switchboard upgrades, long cable runs, metering or network requirements, difficult access, additional backup circuits, bollards or smoke-alarm requirements, travel, trenching or remedial electrical work.
We prefer to price the real job properly: no vague promises, no undersized backup expectations and no surprise system design after you have committed.
Is this the right system for your home?
Send us your suburb, a recent electricity bill, your existing solar-system size, whether the property is single-phase, and the appliances you want supported in a blackout. We can then recommend the right inverter, battery capacity and backup design.

Tell us what you want the system to achieve. We will help turn the product options into a design that makes sense.
Important: Product specifications, approved-product listings, warranty terms, incentive rules and pricing can change. Final system eligibility, output, backup performance and installed scope depend on the exact model combination, site assessment, network requirements and installation date. *The 0ms transfer claim applies only under EcoFlow’s specified conditions, including compliant local grid settings, stable grid conditions and connected backup loads within the selected system’s capability.
