Description
Victron Cerbo GX MK2
The Victron Cerbo GX MK2 is the central monitoring and control hub for a serious Victron power system. It connects your inverter/charger, solar chargers, battery monitors, managed lithium batteries, tanks, temperature sensors and other system devices, then gives you a clear way to monitor and control everything locally or remotely.
For off-grid, caravan, marine and home energy storage systems, the Cerbo GX MK2 is often the piece that turns a collection of Victron components into one coordinated system. Connect it to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal for remote monitoring and alerts, use the VictronConnect app for setup and local access, or add a GX Touch display for an easy dashboard at the system itself.
Why choose the Cerbo GX MK2?
- Remote system visibility: Monitor battery state of charge, solar production, AC loads, grid or generator input and system alarms through the VRM portal.
- Local control when you are on site: Access the system over the local network, built-in Wi-Fi access point, VictronConnect app or optional GX Touch display.
- Victron ecosystem integration: Ideal for systems using MultiPlus, Quattro, SmartSolar MPPTs, SmartShunt, BMV monitors, Lynx devices and compatible managed lithium batteries.
- Useful IO for real installations: Includes inputs for tank levels, temperature sensors and digital signals, plus relay outputs for generator start/stop or other control tasks.
- Marine and professional integration: Supports marine MFD and NMEA 2000 style installations, making it useful in boats, mobile systems and larger monitored power systems.
- Expandable system monitoring: VE.Direct, VE.Bus, VE.Can, BMS-Can, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support make it suitable for anything from a small off-grid setup to a more advanced ESS installation.
Best suited for
- Off-grid solar and battery systems that need reliable remote monitoring.
- 48V Victron inverter systems using MultiPlus-II or Quattro inverter/chargers.
- Caravan, RV and marine power systems where local display and remote access are valuable.
- Energy storage systems where alerts, logging and system-wide control matter.
- Installations using managed lithium batteries that require a GX device for proper communication.
Things to know before buying
This listing is for the Victron Cerbo GX MK2 communication centre. A GX Touch display is an optional accessory and is not included unless it is separately listed as part of a bundle. DIN rail mounting requires the optional DIN35 adapter small. For most lithium and inverter systems, the exact cables required will depend on the other Victron products and battery/BMS being connected.
