Task ID Phase Task Description Details
P1.1 Planning Comprehensive Site Assessment & Engineering In-depth audit of switchboard, solar array compatibility (Voc, Isc), and cable pathways for the new system.
P1.2 Planning Full System Design & Engineering Creating a new, detailed Single Line Diagram (SLD) for the integrated hybrid system and upgraded switchboard.
P1.3 Planning Complex DNSP Application Detailed submission for altering a generation unit and adding energy storage.
Phase 1
P2.1 Decommission Safe Shutdown & Removal of Old Inverter Correct isolation of AC/DC circuits, safe disconnection, and physical removal of the old solar inverter.
P2.2 Decommission Disposal of Old Equipment Responsible e-waste disposal of the decommissioned inverter.
P2.3 Decommission PV Array Cable & Safety Check Inspection and testing of existing solar DC cabling to ensure it’s safe and suitable for the new, high-voltage inverter.
Phase 2
P3.1 Installation Installation Labour (Complex) Labour for 1-2 electricians for all decommissioning, installation, and upgrade works.
P3.2 Installation Potentials Removal of old and installation of a new  to meet AS/NZS 3000.
P3.3 Installation Mounting of Hybrid Inverter & Battery Securely mounting new hardware according to manufacturer and Australian Standards (AS/NZS 5139).
P3.4 Installation Installation of All New Cabling Supply and install of new DC battery cables, PV array string cables (if needed), and larger AC wiring to the new switchboard.
P3.5 Installation Installation of Additional Safety Equipment Supply and fit of mandatory Battery System Main Switch (BSMS), isolators, and Emergency Power Off (EPO) button if required.
P3.6 Installation Conduit, Fittings & Consumables All protective conduit, glands, saddles, lugs, and fixings for a compliant and durable installation.
Phase 3
P4.1 Commissioning Complex System Commissioning & Configuration In-depth software setup of the hybrid inverter for solar, battery, and grid profiles (export limiting, backup power, etc.).
P4.2 Commissioning Customer Handover (Integrated System) Walkthrough of the entire new system, including backup functions and the new monitoring application.
P4.3 Commissioning Final Compliance & Certification (CES/CoC) Completing and lodging the comprehensive Certificate of Electrical Safety for the entire project.
