1. PowerAssist (Hybrid Logic)

In Australia, shore power or generator limits are often restricted (e.g., 10A or 15A outlets). PowerAssist allows the MultiPlus to supplement the AC source with battery power. If you try to run a 2400W air conditioner on a 10A (2300W) circuit, the MultiPlus will pull the remaining 100W+ from your 12V battery to prevent the source breaker from tripping.

2. Dual AC Outputs

  • AC-out-1: Protected by the UPS function. If the grid fails, this stays live.

  • AC-out-2: Only active when AC input (shore/generator) is present. Ideal for “dump loads” like water heaters or air conditioners that you don’t want accidentally draining your batteries when off-grid.
