Product Compliance & Installation Disclaimer
1. System Certification: The components supplied in this package (Victron Inverter and [Brand] 48V Batteries) are individually listed on the Clean Energy Council (CEC) Approved Products List as of the date of sale. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure installation is completed by a SRES-accredited installer to maintain eligibility for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and state-based rebates.
2. Installation Standards: This system must be installed in strict accordance with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and AS/NZS 5139:2019 (Battery Safety). Particular attention must be paid to fire-rated barriers for walls backing habitable rooms, required clearances from openings (600mm), and restricted locations (e.g., no ceiling spaces or evacuation routes).
3. Victron Commissioning & Warranty: Victron MultiPlus/Quattro units are professional-grade power conversion equipment.
Firmware: Use of this inverter with lithium batteries requires specific Charge Profile and ESS (Energy Storage System) Assistant configuration via VE.Configure.
Liability: Improper programming that results in battery over-discharge, over-charge, or BMS “handshake” failure is considered an installation fault and is not covered under the manufacturer’s hardware warranty.
4. Limit of Liability: Lifepo4 Australia provides these items as a component package. We do not perform the final installation. The Licensed Electrical Contractor (LEC) performing the work assumes all “Manufacturer Liability” for the integrated system’s safety and performance under the Electrical Safety Act 2002 (QLD).
