Off-Grid System Installation Terms & Conditions

1. One System Per Property

   • Only one complete off-grid system can be installed per property address up to a maximum of 48kwh of Batteries.

   • This is system is the after rebate price, this means you must not have previously claimed batteries under the Federal program of cheaper home batteries.

2. Quotation & Pre-Approval Required

   • This product must be fully quoted, site-assessed, and agreed in writing before purchase.

   • Final pricing is likely to vary from the advertised price depending on site conditions and additional requirements. Which is completely normal when installing offgrid electrical systems at half the usual prices. You pay for what you get, at the best prices we can provide.

3. Installer Availability

   • Installations will be performed by a qualified SAA-accredited SPS Stand alone OFF GRID electrician.

   • In some locations, we may not be able to secure a local installer.

   • Remote or difficult-access locations may require travel charges, accommodation, and overnight rates.

4. Exclusions (Common Additional Charges)
   The following are not included in the advertised price and will be quoted separately if required:

   • Electrical upgrades to meet AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) compliance (e.g., switchboard upgrades, main earth repairs).

   • Replacement or upgrading of consumer mains, meter panels, or main switches.

   • Trenching, conduit, or cabling over standard allowances (e.g., more than 20 m from inverter to switchboard).

   • Groundworks, slab construction, or structural modifications for battery/inverter mounting.

   • Crane, lifting, or special access equipment.

   • Roof repairs, asbestos removal, or works on unsafe or non-compliant structures.

   • Tree removal, vegetation clearing, or pest removal.

   • Integration with existing generators, inverters, or third-party systems unless specified in writing.

   • Network approvals, permits, or inspections beyond standard off-grid compliance requirements.

5. Additional Notes

   • All works must comply with relevant Australian Standards, electrical regulations, and safety requirements.

   • Customer must ensure safe and reasonable access to the installation site.

   • Final commissioning will only occur once full payment and any additional charges have been received.

IMPORTANT 

Due to the specialized nature of the rebate-eligible components and the potential for limited availability of a qualified electrician in your area, we must include a special condition for this purchase.

By proceeding with this order, you acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right to either:

• Cancel the order and provide a full refund at any time before installation if a suitable electrician cannot be secured.
• Apply additional charges to cover the cost of a specialized electrician if one is not locally available, including any and all fees that are fair for both you and the qualified tradesperson applied.
• You should plan that this bundle will have additional costs, usually between 5-20% additional for parts, components, and additional labor.
