Solis Dyness Bundles – CEC Rebate Approved

Flexible System bundle Builder.

The Solis S6 Hybrid AU version is a single-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential use in Australia. It can manage a solar array, a low-voltage battery bank, and the grid to optimize your home’s energy consumption. Key features include a fast backup switchover time of less than 10ms for uninterrupted power during outages, a high PV input capacity (up to 200%) to maximize solar energy harvesting, and intelligent management capabilities based on Time-of-Use (TOU) tariffs. The inverter is compatible with a range of mainstream lithium batteries and can be expanded by connecting multiple units in parallel. It is a certified product for the Australian market. It is compatible with Amber and Evergen for VPP and also both on and off grid battery rebate programs

Solis Dyness Powerbox Pro vs. Dyness DL5.0

The Solis Powerbox Pro and Dyness DL5.0 are both low-voltage, modular lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery energy storage systems designed for residential and small commercial applications. They are highly suitable for use with hybrid inverters like the Solis S6.

Key AdvantageHigher single-unit capacity & outdoor rating.Greater scalability & a more compact design.
Use CaseLarger residential setups, and installations requiring outdoor placement.Residential and small commercial installations, especially where a compact, stackable indoor solution is preferred.

Both batteries feature an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) for cell balancing and safety, a long cycle life of over 6,000 cycles, and wide compatibility with leading inverter brands. Your choice between them will likely depend on your required capacity, available installation space, and whether the battery needs to be installed outdoors.

It’s worth noting that the Solis Powerbox Pro is manufactured by Dyness, so they share the same core technology and are designed to work together seamlessly. Your previous note about parallel LiFePO4 banks is relevant here; with both the Powerbox Pro and DL5.0, a meticulously set up, top-balanced system with identical cabling is a reliable approach for optimal performance and longevity.
