We recommend keeping the cell voltage lower than 3.65v and higher than 2.7v where possible. It is well understood in the professional industry that higher voltage leads to electrolyte loss over time. And low voltage will severely damage the cells and very quickly. This is irreversible damage. So never leave the cells empty below 2.5v.
