Latest release of EVE Energy cells

Many new cells have arrived in 2024

The most important new cells for Energy storage are
MB31 – 8000 cycles
MB30 – 10000 cycles
MB56 (LF560k) – 8000 cycles

Special notes – EVE has been slightly inconsistent with its published data in regards to cycle life and current rates. In 2024, the C rate was changed to the P rate, which is slightly different technically on the new models.

Tradionally LF280 & LF304 were rated for 1C to 3500 and 4000 cycles.
The new cells MB series are now rate for 0.5P to 8000 and 10000 cycles.

This is interesting, and inconsistent with our own research, which shows small incremental changes to the LFP chemistry which should show even better cycle life than is reported by EVE on official documents such as the datasheets of MB series cells.
