Description
CEC Approved 5Kwh Battery LFP48-100
WARRANTY 10 years (Manufacturer)
CEC Certification : Under Application/Pending
The Kijo battery is a no frills 51.2v 100ah (5.12Kwh) LFP battery. The cells inside these are brand new 100ah 3.2v (no brand listed)
Important As we understand the complexities of an LFP cell, we estimate that even with a 10 Year claimed warranty period, it would be wise to include this information into your purchase decision. The low price also should be a consideration of what grade 100ah cells are being implemented in this battery. For long life we recommend using 300ah cells which have much higher claimed lifespan such our 51.2v 314ah 8000 cycle battery.
- Scalable from 5.12 kWh to 51.2 kWh
- Maximum Flexibility for any Application with up to 10 Modules
- Connected in Parallel
- Compatible with Leading 1 and 3 Phase Inverters (Victron, Growatt,
- Cobalt Free Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery: Maximum Safety, Lifespan and Power.
- Capable of Emergency-Backup and Off-Grid Functions.
- Self-Consumption Optimization for Residential and Commercial Applications.
Kijo States it is possible to stack up to 4 batteries without the use of a rack, however, we dont recommend it. A rack with a secure closeable front door, would be madatory in our opinion for any on-grid application to ensure safety around children and animals.

Review and Opinion – We personally believe that any 100ah battery is pushing into highly aspirational territory with claimed lifespan of 10 years. The warranty period is long and this is another consideration, the owner of LiFePo4 Australia, has been in electronics distribution and retail since 2002 (22 years), and 10 years is a very long time for a battery warranty. Most importantly for any purchaser is to understand the brand behind the product may not be able to service the warranty in in as little as 3 years, especially when large brands come in with even more competitive products in a few years, the possibility of no warranty past the first few years is very real. We want you to understand that the warranty of 10 years is held with the importer/manufacturer. We provide a level of service as your retailer, but past the 3rd year the warranty is passed onto the manufacturer.
After saying that, the battery is excellent value, and we are happy to recommend this as a no frills CEC pending battery in Australia in 2024.
How to know how many batteries you need to purchase based on the Manufacturer current rating of 20A Charge and 50A Disharge
20A Charge at 58v is 1160 Watts, this means if you have a 10kwh Solar array you would need at least 9 of these batteries to still be within warranty conditions as stated by the manufacturer.
